Terms and Conditions of Rental
1.The client agrees not to take the rented vehicle out of the State of Florida. In the event that the
location system detects this, the customer will have to an extra cost $50 US for each day, in addition to
their actual rental. Without prejudice to the aditional charge for excess mileages that will be charged at
the end when they return the car.
2. The customer can not use the vehicle as public tranportation (URBE, Lyft, other).
3. The client accepts that the limit of miles per day is 150. If you exceed miles you have an extra cost the
$ 0.25US per miles.
4.The client agrees to make good use of the vehicle and respect traffic rules and laws of the State of
Florida.
5.The custumers agrees to take care of the vehicle and all the accessories found inside, and must also
return it in the same conditions in which it was received. In case of damage or loss the cost is as follow:
GPS $150 US, Baby Seat $80 US, Inicial key from $250 US depending on the model and brand of car,
keychains $15 US.
6. The client undertakes to return the car without any odor ( tobacco, liquor, food, etc) if this happens it
will generate a penalty of $150 US.
7.The customers agrees to take care of the cleaning the car, if at the time of returning the car the chair
is very dirty or stained, they will have to pay an extra costo f $60 US.
8. The client is aware that at the time of picking up the car they have the opportunity to inspet the
general condition of the tires and the extenal and intenal part of the vehicle. From these moment on,
the customers are aware that all additional costs for damages or punctures and losses will be borne by
the customers the client.
9.The client accepts that credit card he/she left as backup in the contrat is valid because at the time of
making an additional payment it is reject , the addicional cost will be charge, if the company tries again
a second time and the card is rejected, it will be reported as fraud, which will be resolved by Florida law
in the Miami court located in 1351 NW 12 TH Street.
10.The customers are knowledge that of time the deliver and pick up the car were chosen for him,
therefore, any change will has an additional cost that must be taken for the client.
11. The client agrees that after two hours of ending the contrat, he authorizes STATUSFLAMINGO RENT
A CAR, CORP to take the vehicle where it is, using all necessary means without any legal prejudice. In
the event that repossession is carried out, our company is not responsible for any object or belonging
found in the vehicle; waiving any civil or criminal action that may be incurred. In addition to this, the
client must assume the cost of the tow truck and the vehicle key.
12. The client is aware that any operetion (delivery or pickup ) between at 10:00 pm and at 6:00 am will
have an addional cost $12 US.
13.The client is aware that in the event of some evetualities, the company is committed to providing
excellent service and always changing cars when it is imposible to come to one our offices, taking into
account that if any of our collaborators travel and veryfy that it is the user´s negligence, such as GPS
connected, a light on, among others, the client must asume the costo f sich operetion.
14. It is the cliente’s knowledge that at the time of making the reservation they were informed and
offered an external company that provides a roadside assistance service, and if they do not take it, our
company is not obliged to resolve the problema. Our company offers a collaboration in order to request
a crane and tries to guide you, but all expenses are the resposability of client.
15. The client is aware of the type of insurance taken and whether or not it has liability to third parties.
In the case of basic insurance, the deductible stated on the front of the contract will be assumed by the
client. In the event of an accident, the client must return the car to our offices (on foot/tow truck).
16. Extensions: the client is aware that he or she may extend the contract 24 hours in advance of the
initial return date and time, taking into account that rental prices could change. If you make the
extension within 24 hours prior to the initial return, there will be an additional surcharge for last minute
changes.
17. The client acknowledges that STATUSFLAMINGO RENT A CAR MIAMI is NOT responsible for objects
or belongings left inside the vehicle at the time of returning it
